Professionals are required to complete their work to a professional standard. Unfortunately, mistakes and poor performance are a fact of life and that is why professionals are required to hold professional indemnity insurance. This means that you have been let down by a professional and suffered loss, effective remedies are available.

That said, not all claims against professionals are viable. The first part of our service is to provide you with an assessment of the claim and advice on what will be involved in progressing your claim.

When pursuing negligence claims we follow the pre-action protocol prescribed by the Court rules. This provides for a detailed Letter of Claim which the professional/their insurers are required to investigate and respond to within 3 months. This enables each side to evaluate the merits of a claim and any defence to it. In many cases the parties then engage in negotiations that lead to settlement.

When a viable claim does not settle, we will issue proceedings and pursue the matter to Trial where appropriate. A variety of funding options are available and we will advise on these as required.

We act on claims against professionals such as: Accountants, Architects, Estate agents, Financial advisors, Solicitors and Surveyors. However we do not act on personal injury or Clinical negligence matters.

 How we can help you

The first part of our service is an Initial Assessment without commitment. We arrange a telephone conference during which we provide an initial assessment of your claim & an indication of what will be involved in time and cost.  Please email brief details of the matter and your contact telephone number to:
